2011-01-08
WALLINGFORD, CT, January 08, 2011 (Press-News.org) The Corporate Educator LLC announced the re-launch of their popular online speed reading course for college students and business professionals called "Rev It Up Reading: Getting Up To Speed With What You Read" The newly designed program offers users an improved appearance, upgraded on-screen features and easier navigation over the previous version. The new course is now replacing the previous version available for registration at http://www.RevItUpReading.com .

Rev It Up Reading is the brainchild of Abby Marks Beale, founder of The Corporate Educator. Her dream is that within the next three to five years every college student will ask each other before school starts "Have you taken Rev It Up Reading yet?" because they know it will help them succeed with their reading workload.

The course is available online 24/7 and is now delivered in nine, 30-minute modules. This allows online learners the ability to learn in their own space and in their own time. Just like the previous version, the course continues to include an eBook copy of "10 Days to Faster Reading" that learners use for the 17 timed reading exercises. All other course materials are easily accessible and even more interactive than in the previous version. Learners track and evaluate their results on a personal progress chart. The new online course uses a superior software platform hosted by TraCorp (located in AZ) which provides increased stability and reliability for all users through the duration of their learning experience.

Rev It Up Reading teaches learners how to use their eyes and brain more efficiently in order to read quicker, better manage any reading workload and to ultimately understand and retain information more effectively through the use of proven speed reading strategies. In addition to teaching new techniques, this course helps readers to reduce counter-productive reading practices such as sub-vocalization and mind-wandering. The course aims to double, frequently triple, a person's reading speed. A demo of the course can be viewed at http://revitupreading.server.tracorp.com/resources/22/launch.php
