Enviro Foam Insulation Ranks Atop Alberta's Fast Growth 50

Alberta eco-friendly insulation company ranks amongst top companies.

2011-01-12
LETHBRIDGE, AB, January 12, 2011 (Press-News.org) The year is starting strong for the 4 Baines Brothers of Enviro Foam Insulation, headed by its founder and CEO Steve Baines. The company was just ranked 4th in the list of "Fast Growth 50" companies by Alberta Venture magazine.

Enviro Foam Insulation is the only company from Southern Alberta on the list of 50 companies, which sets them apart from the others that are located in Calgary and Edmonton. Having a company with a head office in Lethbridge is unique, and as Steve explains, "We love this area and are very proud to call it home and represent it as we expand across the country."

The list recognizes growth-oriented businesses in Alberta and is produced annually by Alberta Venture magazine and KPMG. Ranking is based on company growth for revenue, profits, assets, incentives, and other criteria.

With a head office in the municipality of Raymond, Alberta, Enviro Foam Insulation broke new ground in the construction industry by using spray foam made from recycled plastic and soya bean oil. It contains a zero ozone depletion blowing agent, which makes it an environmentally friendly product for homeowners. Their successful business model has allowed them to expand their operations across Canada with franchises in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Nova Scotia.

"We've always focused on educating customers and builders about our environmentally efficient option, rather than just trying to push a product. Education is the key to changing consumer habits and by offering a product that is not only great, but that supports the green movement we've found the perfect mix for our success," says Baines.

"We want to thank Alberta Venture for recognizing our success in continuing to support our growth and to the customers and community who recognize the value in having an environmentally friendly home," says Baines.

About Enviro Foam Insulation
Enviro Foam Insulation is owned and operated by the Baines Brothers: Steve, Matt, Chris, and Mike. Their individual training and experience in the construction and renovation industry taught them that many buildings are not insulated and sealed as well as they could be. This can lead to drafts, dust, mold, rot, noise, and high energy bills. As a result, they started Enviro Foam Insulation to provide their customers with a more efficient way to insulate and seal their buildings.

With an increased demand across the country from entrepreneurs and customers, it was natural for the company to move to a franchise model, and today they have franchises in Lethbridge, Calgary, Edmonton, Lloydminster, Regina and Halifax.
