At this historic New England mansion, guests will find the casual luxury and charm of an elegant country house hotel. Originally built in 1860 for the silversmith Norman S. Boardman as his family's home, the inn has an extensive history dating back to the Civil War-era and is an exquisite example of Second Empire architecture. The historic landmark opened as The Boardman House Inn in 2010.

The newly renovated rooms and suites are individually designed and decorated with period antiques and artwork, oriental rugs and rich fabrics. Each accommodation offers luxurious comfort allowing guests to unwind and relax in a peaceful environment complete with private porches, king-size beds with comfortable feather topped mattresses and luxurious linens.

In addition, all accommodations have newly finished private en-suite baths with heated marble floors and luxurious amenities as well as modern conveniences like air conditioning, complimentary wireless Internet access and flat screen televisions. Breakfast is made to order from an extensive breakfast menu, and is served in the dining room.
