Employers Urged to "Get Behind the Government Apprenticeship Scheme" by CRM Specialists DMC Software

A local IT student has been given an apprentice within a CRM Software Development Team, by DMC Software, leading Sage and Microsoft CRM Business Partner, investing in his future despite the economic pressures of today.

2011-01-13
CAMBRIDGESHIRE, ENGLAND, January 13, 2011 (Press-News.org) Leading Sage and Microsoft CRM Business Partner, DMC Software, has provided an apprenticeship within their CRM Software Development Team to a local IT Student, enabling him to train for the future.

Mike Ramsay, DMC Software Solutions Managing Director said, "With the current economic state, increasing university fees and ever increasing unemployment figures it is integral that employers get behind the government apprenticeship scheme and begin to provide viable and credible opportunities for young people. DMC Software made our first long term investment in an apprentice in 2010 and already benefits are apparent for all parties involved.

"In exchange for a salary, training support and clear career prospects within DMC Software, our new apprentice, Jamie Lamb, provides skills that meet our exact needs as a business which are traditionally difficult to recruit. In my opinion there is no substitute for learning on the job alongside proper training. Aside from the bright future apprenticeships offer individuals and businesses, they also provide clear benefits for the UK's economic recovery."

Jamie Lamb has taken on the role of a Trainee CRM Software Developer with DMC Software's experienced team, starting with Microsoft CRM, and to demonstrate how he is benefiting from his experience as an apprentice he has set up a blog. To follow Jamie's progress visit http://realapprentice.wordpress.com/

TVs used to be large, boxy and ugly looking things. You could receive two stations, in black and white, and the nearest thing to a remote control was granddads stick that was used for hitting the stupid thing when it went all fuzzy. As for a TV stand - well anything that was structurally sound enough to hold a block of granite would probably just about do. How times have changed. Apart from the fact that our TV's are now as much as design statement as the rest of our decor, their accessories have also multiplied creating a need for specially designed, functional and ...
