NEW YORK, NY, January 13, 2011 (Press-News.org) Ines Sainz is a 12-year sports journalist in Mexico who plans on taking the US media by storm. In an interview with TheCelebrityCafe.com, Sainz sat down to talk about all things sports including her upcoming Super Bowl and Dakar Rally coverage as well as to talk about some of her greatest interview moments.
Ines who was the first female sports editor in Mexico, spoke glowingly about some of her interview assignments which included coverage of the World Cup, the Olympics, Super Bowl and even the Stanley Cup.
When asked about her favorite interviews so far, Ines identified those that she did with Brazilian footballer Ricardo Izecson dos Santos Leite - aka Kaka¡ - and Swiss tennis player Roger Federer among others. Ines described Kaka¡ as a "simple and nice guy" and the "best soccer player" while she felt that Federer was a "very nice guy who was very professional."
About her transition into American television Ines describes it as a "new adventure" adding that she is already working on pilots for two new shows which she would produce in collaboration with Univision.
Although Ines is excited about bringing shows to America, she has no intentions of forgetting the country that has made her who she is today. "I'm not leaving all the things in Mexico"because I worked very, very hard for a long time for all the things in Mexico. But I think it's a good time to move. So I think it's time to be focused in the States; time to transition. I'm excited."
