Pitney Bowes Hires New European President

Pitney Bowes has appointed Ian Davidson as President of Global Mailing Solutions (GMS).

LONDON, ENGLAND, January 14, 2011 (Press-News.org) Pitney Bowes has appointed Ian Davidson as President of Global Mailing Solutions (GMS). Pitney Bowes' GMS division helps customers of all sizes create, prepare and distribute mail in the most efficient and cost-effective manner. Ian will now oversee the development, growth and profitability of the division throughout Europe.

Ian first joined Pitney Bowes in 1988 after a four-year career as a professional cricketer with Lancashire County Cricket Club. Ian has held various roles across the company in the UK, Europe and the US. and joins GMS from Pitney Bowes Document Messaging Technologies (DMT) International where he was Vice President.

During his time with Pitney Bowes DMT Ian played a key role in establishing Pitney Bowes as the partner of choice for organisations processing high volumes of business-critical documents.

Speaking about his new role, Ian comments, "This is a particularly exciting time as we realign our business to provide customers with greater flexibility and efficiency in the way they deal with Pitney Bowes.
