No Slippy Hair Clippy Donates Hair Accessories for Domestic Violence Victims

VACAVILLE, CA, January 14, 2011 (Press-News.org) No Slippy Hair Clippy today announced their participation in the Boom Boom Room charity event by donating a collection of hair accessories to Nahla's World, a play center and boutique founded by Academy Award-winning actress Halle Berry. Nahla's World offers free supplies and garments to domestic violence victims, many of whom left their belongings in abusive homes.

Nahla's World was initially a simple transitional housing apartment, but Halle Berry remodeled it on behalf of the Jenesse Center, the oldest domestic violence intervention program in south Los Angeles.

No Slippy Hair Clippy CEO Annie Salyer agreed to help Halle Berry fill the newly renovated Nahla's World with beautiful hair accessories.

"Domestic violence victims, especially the young girls, have been through a lot of pain. We hope that when they wear our hair clips they can learn to smile again. It might seem like a small thing, but feeling pretty is a great way to rebuild the confidence of these girls," said Salyer.

No Slippy Hair Clippy will formally gift a collection of hair accessories during the Boom Boom Room Pre-Golden Globes celebrity gifting event, to be held on January 14th & 15th in Los Angeles.

"We wish for this simple act to inspire others to donate to Nahla's World, and to help young girls rebuild their lives one beautiful hair clip at a time," ends Salyer.
