Jill Ragan Scully has participated in rigorous certification and training programs at various WFCP events; where she has accumulated numerous credits and passed several exams.
This comprehensive continuing-education and multilevel accreditation program offers its members the opportunity to attain knowledge, recognition and, most importantly, certification. The purpose of WFCP is to provide designers, retailers, workrooms, and installers with a superior advantage through continuing education, industry knowledge, and access to resources that will distinguish WFCP Professional as the best in their field.
Members can gain certification by earning credits to advance through the program's levels of expertise including the Associate, Specialist, Master and Expert levels and earning IACET CEU credits. These CEU credits not only help members develop profitable areas of expertise but can be applied toward their state certification requirements.
The Master Level, requiring 45 credits, includes complex window-fashion design topics with a thorough understanding of specialty window fashions as well as advanced business, fabrication, and design strategies. In order to advance to this level, members must acquire credits through attendance at seminars, WFCP pockets, and perform volunteer work. They are graded on their overall participation in the program, must pass an assessment test, submit a project, and complete a tutorial outlining how to speak to other professionals in a seminar format. Of the 45 credits, eight must be in business, eight must be in design, eight must be in workroom, and six must be in installation.
Continuing education is critical to the success of the practicing professional. Through the WFCP program, Jill Ragan Scully has proven ongoing commitment to industry professionalism.
