Mobile Telephone Manufacturer HTC Uses Sigmer's Online Staff Survey System

The EMEA operations of HTC had grown rapidly and the leadership team decided that it was time to undertake a formal survey of employees in order to gather high-quality feedback on a range of key aspects from work - life balance to employee satisfaction.

HTC preferred to use an on-line staff survey provided by external agency as this provided anonymity and confidentiality for respondents and gave staff the freedom to express their views and feelings in a non-attributable way.

The online survey was hosted from Sigmer's high security data centre in London. The Project Team was provided with an on-line reporting portal that allowed them to monitor overall response statistics for the survey and to view a standard summary report of attitudinal responses. A further detailed reporting portal was provided at the end of the survey allowing viewing and downloading of survey data.

The survey has been a considerable success for the HTC and it has provide a valuable insight into the attitudes and satisfaction of their staff. It has also created a baseline of attitudinal data from which changes over time may be measured.
