SAN DIEGO, CA, January 16, 2011 (Press-News.org) 2011 has officially begun and it's time to close the book on all the 'year in review' and 'best of' lists. Executives, if they haven't already, should be looking at forecasts, predictions and current conditions as strategies for the upcoming year materialize.
Using the Canadian Federation of Independent Business's Barometer Index, Business Review Canada compiled a list of Canadian economic hotspots. The list also includes three provinces Executives would be advised to avoid.
Major factors playing a role in business confidence levels across the country include past or future iconic events, budgets, tax codes and skilled labour supply. There are a few peculiarities to be found on the list as well, such as one province that is the most pessimistic about the upcoming year yet can claim the distinction as the first province without a business tax rate.
Find out where business owners are the most confident and where they are not before plans are submitted to the board.
