LOS ANGELES, CA, January 16, 2011 (Press-News.org) Psychological Care and Healing Treatment Center now offers Day Treatment Programs that are created for people who are transitioning from Intensive or Residential Treatment Programs, Mental Health Institutions, Drug Dependency Rehabilitation Centers, and some similar programs, into the real world. These day programs begin at nine in the morning and end at four in the afternoon. Clients have an hour long break in the middle of the day, for some lunch, which is also provided by the Psychological Care and Healing Treatment Center. The clients also get one short break in the afternoon and one short break in the morning.
The Psychological Care and Healing Treatment Center's Day Treatment Programs require their clients to undergo individual sessions with a Psychoanalytical (doctoral level) therapist four times in a week, and one session a week with a Somatic Experience therapist. Additionally, the clients are requested to join four group sessions a day, everyday. These group sessions include DBT, meditation, neurofeedback treatment, yoga, sleep hygiene treatment, trauma group sessions, pattern identification treatments, pattern reduction, life skills group sessions, and a lot more. All these treatment sessions are designed to help the clients segue from their life under intensive care ad treatment, to a life lived independent from these types of support systems.
The Psychological Care and Healing Day Treatment Program seeks to help people get over their psychological issues including anxiety disorders, depression, seasonal depression, bipolar disorder, other mood disorders, personality disorder, psychological trauma disorders, and self in jury or Self Cutting Treatment Clinic. Although the Holistic Treatment Center does not really focus on drug or alcohol dependency, they still a level of expertise when it comes to this, because this is somewhat of a common secondary problem for people who self medicate or try to number their feelings using alcohol and illegal drugs. The Day Treatment Program may be enrolled to for a minimum of one month, but may be extended as per the clinical director's approval. Transportation to and from the Psychological Care and Healing Treatment Center may also be hired; or the clients may choose at an apartment or pension house within walking distance to the treatment facility.
