For kids that love firefighters, this app is a must have. Kids Fireman goes through various activities related to firefighters such as dialing 911, dressing up a fireman, driving a fire truck, putting out the fire, rescuing a cat and many others as if going through a story book. Kids can slide up, slide down, move, touch and poke various objects with real sound effects and colorful scenes. It is fun and interactive with exciting background music.
"My nephew loves firefighters. After numerous fire station open houses, fire truck DVDs and books, I decided to surprise my nephew with this app," said Dong Ju Kim, the founder of Ducky Luck Studio. "The current version, 2.0, incorporates many of the feedback we have received from my nephew and version 1.0 users to make it more fun and exciting." Kim further added, "My nephew, who had never used an iPhone before, quickly went from fumbling around to poking, sliding, moving and touching with dexterity. So this app is more than just about firefighters."
Since the initial launch in October 2010, the app was featured in "New and Noteworthy" and "What's Hot" by the iTune App Store and it was introduced as "App for kids _ Fun Learning" list of 13 essential must-have apps.
