Comtrol Europe Emphasizes the Role Taken By the DeviceMaster-UP

Over the last few years Comtrol Europe has seen the sales of its DeviceMaster-UP products increase.

The DeviceMaster UP provides innovative PLC to device connectivity giving EtherNet/IP, Modbus/TCP, and Profinet connectivity to a wide variety of devices. Through a series of unique features the DeviceMaster-UP greatly simplify connecting devices such as barcode scanners, RFID readers, weigh scales, vision systems, printers, encoders and sensors to PLCs. These features include Peer-to-Peer Modbus/TCP, Write-to-Tag EtherNet/IP, etc.

Comtrol's DualConnectPlus Technology simultaneously connects both serial and Ethernet devices to PLCs and/or applications. String, RFID and barcode data filtering eliminates redundant data while extracting the RFID and barcode parameters.
Comtrol's PortVision Plus remote monitoring and management software automatically locates DeviceMaster UPs on the network and enables you to view status, update firmware and resolve issues remotely.

The operating temperature of -37 to 74ºC enables the DeviceMaster UP to function in a wide variety of harsh environments and along with its rugged housing, with panel, rack and DIN rail mounting options, makes the DeviceMaster-UP an ideal choice for a wide range of projects.
