MyBinding.com, one of the country's leading online retailers of document finishing equipment and supplies, recently announced that Jeff McRitchie, the company's Director of Marketing, has been promoted. McRitchie is now serving as the Vice-President of Marketing.

"We are proud of Jeff and all that he's done for the company," said Cory Ware, co-owner of the company. "He's been a real asset to us and it seemed like a promotion was in order."

McRitchie's promotion was recently announced at the company's annual Christmas gala which took place in Sunriver, Oregon. McRitchie, 31, has been with MyBinding.com since 2003 when the company did direct sales only. He launched the company's website which now features over 27,000 products.

"I'm very proud of this opportunity," McRitchie said. "This is a great place to work and I'm lucky to work with some really talented people."

McRitchie has seen his list of duties grow over the years. Not only does he build relationships with vendors and customers, he continues to keep an eye on the company's website and is involved with search engine optimization and marketing, promotional videos, and social networking. McRitchie also supervises a marketing team comprised of ten people that help him with website and content development. The team includes writers, a graphic designer, and a web developer.

MyBinding.com has increased its online visibility in the past year. Last spring, the company received attention from The Oregonian newspaper because McRitchie and his two writers produced enough content to publish blog posts around the clock for a full 72 days. The end result was 1,728 posts about the company's wares including binding machines, paper shredders, and laminators. The company has also recently added new products to their main website including reinforced and synthetic paper, plus a selection of Swingline paper shredders. New products will be added to the website throughout 2011.

"This is an exciting time for us," McRitchie said. "And I'm glad I get to be a part of it."
