Olympian University Cosmetology Student Wins First Place in Fantasy Hair Competition
Patricia Bennett, a cosmetology student from Olympian University, 1011 E 10th Street in Alamogordo, captured 1st place in the Fantasy Hair competition at the recent Hair Forum Competition in Fort Worth, Texas.

Patricia Bennett, a cosmetology student from Olympian University, 1011 E 10th Street in Alamogordo, captured 1st place in the Fantasy Hair competition at the recent Hair Forum Competition in Fort Worth, Texas. Another Olympian University student, Audrey Hernandez, placed 5th in the same category.The contestants in the fantasy category were encouraged to pull out the stops on their themed entry to create a hair and makeup idea on a mannequin that would wow the judges, spectators and fellow students. Each entry was judged based on creativity, originality, innovation, color and theme.
BennettâEUR s entry was an eye-catching mannequin with a gold brocade mask for makeup and brilliant hair coloring that started with a natural color at the base and transitioned to vivid red, orange and yellow.

She is a little older than many of our students, but she can run circles around everyone in energy and creativity. We are very proud of her.âEUR
Olympian University is a cosmetology school that provides students with a distinguished environment that mirrors many of the upscale salons that will employ Olympian University students after they graduate and earn their cosmetology license.
