BC Centre for Food & Beverage Marketers to host workshop on The Power of Email & Social Media Marketing

The January 31, 2011 will help food & beverage industry participants explore the latest tools for email and social media marketing. In addition, attendees will learn about the Circle Farm Tour program, and the benefits of partnership marketing.

ABBOTSFORD, BC, January 21, 2011

BC Centre for Food & Beverage Marketers has announced today that it will host a workshop in partnership with Tourism Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows.

The seminar, which will be held on 31st of January 2011, will help participants explore the latest tools for email and social media marketing. In addition, attendees will learn about the Circle Farm Tour program, and the benefits of partnership marketing.

The afternoon seminar will help provide practical advice on how to build relationships that are critical to your business success.

Food and Beverage Industry attendees will become informed about strategies for acquiring and keeping quality customers, clients and subscribers.

Presenter Guy Steves, Regional Director of Development for Constant Contact explains, "Email Marketing and Social Media should be an important key component of your overall marketing or customer communication strategy." According to Steves, these strategies are easy, inexpensive and highly effective.

Marketing partnerships are another strategy for business development. Kristina Gervais, Executive Director of Tourism Maple Ridge Pitt Meadows, will explain about the Circle Farm Tour program, it's history and how their marketing efforts are providing a unique experience for visitors.
