EasyCEU Announces Three New Nationally Approved Continuing Education Courses

• HIV / AIDS in the Elder Population

Altschuler and Christensen are new instructors to the EasyCEU team. Altschuler is certified through CBRPC as a Recreation Therapist, specializing in geriatrics; and is certified as an RCFE administrator in California. She has over 20 years experience with her own company, Residential Homecare Services; personally working with the elderly and their loved ones on a daily basis.

Christensen is a licensed Oregon Marriage and Family Therapist with a private practice in West Linn, Oregon and owner of Brain Development Etc. This educational consulting business is the result of over 15 years of inquiry and synthesis of a variety of emerging disciplines in the biological sciences. Mr. Christensen was part of a six-year pilot project originally conceived for the Kern County First Five Foundation in Bakersfield, California. The training stressed the importance of the pre-natal to five years on subsequent human functioning aligned with the Foundation's mission of Healthy Children; Healthy Families; Healthy Communities and School Readiness. Later, the series focused on targeting County workers through the Department of Human Services with such divisions as Child Protective Services; Family Preservation; Family Reunification; Parent Support. In his clinical practice, he possesses over 20 years of diverse mental health experience working with children, adolescents and families in crisis.
