Atlanta Tree Service Company, Yellow Ribbon Tree Experts, Responds to Winter Storm

Yellow Ribbon Tree Experts, a leading Atlanta tree service company, provides rapid response in the event of storm damage.

2011-01-26
ATLANTA, GA, January 26, 2011 (Press-News.org) Atlanta tree services company Yellow Ribbon Tree Experts was on call for potential tree damage over the course of the winter storm that moved through Atlanta and across the Southeast in January. Regardless of the degree of the damage or size of the tree, the certified arborists at Yellow Ribbon are always available for immediate response to storm damage. In addition to storm damage response, Yellow Ribbon specializes in Atlanta tree removal and tree trimming.

Several inches of snow and a subsequent layer of sleet and ice coated the metro Atlanta area in early January, shutting down the city for much of the week. As highways, residential roads and parking lots were covered in the heavy, slick ice, vehicles slipped and slid into cars, posts, and trees along the street.

In one incident during the storm, Yellow Ribbon removed a tree for the city of Atlanta following a collision with a semi-trailer truck that slid off the road. The tree had become an obstruction, and had to be removed before the semi-trailer truck could be moved from the area.

"The winter storm that we experienced here in Atlanta opened the eyes of many to the dangers that come with winter weather," explains Gary Robertson, owner of Yellow Ribbon Tree Experts. "Heavy snow and ice can wreak havoc on roads and trees. At Yellow Ribbon Tree Experts, we are ready to respond promptly to any case of storm damage."

Storm damage can cause a multitude of problems, from uprooted trees to blocked roads to split branches. Ice accumulation can split or break in treetops, causing falling limbs and potential harm.

Some potential hazards are not always apparent to the layman. A certified arborist from an Atlanta tree service is the best individual to assess the condition of the tree and the extent of the storm damage.

Yellow Ribbon Tree Experts is committed to being the primary Atlanta tree service for storm damage at any time of the year. With twenty-five years of experience in all aspects of arboriculture and tree maintenance, Yellow Ribbon Tree Experts has seen and successfully dealt with the toughest that nature has to offer.
