LONDON, ENGLAND, January 26, 2011 (Press-News.org) London's Noel Coward Theatre will stage a meeting between Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Johnny Cash this year in a production called Million Dollar Quartet.
While the actual stars will obviously not be on stage, the show was inspired by a real event in 1956, when the four icons got together to play music at a studio in Memphis.
Taking on the roles of the musical legends will be Ben Goddard, Derek Hagan, Robert Britton Lyons and Michael Malarky.
Attendees from London hotels who are passionate about music from the era dominated by performers such as Presley and Cash will not be disappointed, as there will be plenty of classic tracks included in the show, such as I Walk the Line, Blue Suede Shoes and Great Balls of Fire.
"This thrilling musical brings you inside the recording studio with four major talents who came together as a red-hot rock'n'roll band for one unforgettable night," remarked the organisers of the US production of the piece.
The show will be performed from February 8th to October 1st 2011, giving people plenty of opportunities to attend, but the popularity of the personalities involved in the story suggests there will be plenty of demand for tickets.
Admission costs between GBP15 and GBP55 for adults.
For more information on this event, visit the Noel Coward Theatre website or contact the venue on 0844 4825140.
