CIO Think Tank Welcomes VP and CIO of News Corporation

HONOLULU, HI, January 26, 2011 (Press-News.org) The CDM Media team announced today that Rich Roseman, VP and CIO, News Corporation, will moderate a roundtable discussion at the upcoming CIO Think Tank for Media & Entertainment technology executives in New York.

To be held March 31, 2011, the CIO Think Tank, which is supported by HCL, the leader in business transformation, is an opportunity for Media & Entertainment CIOs and senior technology executives to discuss business transformation issues currently affecting the industry. The one-day event will include a keynote speech, roundtable discussion, Q&A session and networking lunch, each designed to encourage in-depth conversation among attendees. The event will bring together an exclusive group of 10 technology leaders, including representatives from CBS and Fox Network.

Roseman will moderate the roundtable discussion, Business Aligned Sourcing Strategy for Technology-led Business Transformation in the Digital Convergence Marketplace. The discussion will cover the steady acceleration of technology, the ever-increasing demand for communications, and the opportunities these changes bring in the areas of new services, applications, products, platforms and devices.

Roseman joined News Corporation as VP and CIO in May 2006. He oversees all corporate IT functions and is responsible for global data center consolidation, security, digital transformation and voice and data networks. Prior to joining News Corporation, Roseman spent six years at News America Marketing as VP of Application Development with responsibility for all aspects of software design, development and support.
