January 27, 2011 (Press-News.org) Publishing company WriteWordBlackInk, which publishes a series of English-Chamorro children's books, has selected online shopping website Guam Catalog to be the exclusive seller of its book series on the internet.
The first book came out in local book stores on the island of Guam and is already available for purchase online at Guam Catalog. Because of the exclusive agreement, consumers won't be able to find the book on other popular online shopping sites like Amazon or Barnes & Noble. The books can only be purchased online at Guam Catalog. "We are pleased to enter into an exclusive deal with publishing company WriteWordBlackInk to sell their series of children's books online. We're committed to making this partnership successful and are excited to offer future books from the series to consumers", stated the owner of Guam Catalog.
The recent release of the book titled "Meet the Mannge Manhoben" is the first book of the English-Chamorro children's book series written and illustrated in Guam. In the first book, readers will join siblings Isa, Mariana and Kin on a journey through their island home and meet their family and friends native to the island. The books are great for children to learn simple Chamorro words and phrases, and to also learn about the unique culture and history of the Pacific island of Guam in this fun, modern and family oriented children's book series for all ages. The books are printed from recycled paper on duplex board with soybean ink.
