AUSTIN, TX, January 27, 2011 (Press-News.org) Great Falls Construction, a Gorham, Maine based construction firm was recently awarded the remodel of the Gorham Public Safety Building in order to increase space
for staff and students and to update the aging building. This building is located at 270 Main St in Gorham, Maine and is the home for the Police Department, Fire Department, and EMT staff.
The Great Falls team added two full dormers to the building to increase storage and
EMT living space by 500 square feet in one section and the other dormer will remain
unfinished to create a future living space for the Fire Department.
Great Falls also updated the roof system from an old asphalt shingle system to a
standing seam metal roof system. The new roofing system will help reduce snow and
ice build-up, prevent leakage, and has a lifetime warranty.
Great Falls is currently repairing the porch columns and reinforcing the structural
integrity of the building at various locations. The remodel was started in November last
year and the team expects to have it completed sometime this month.
Great Falls Construction has been building and remodeling homes and commercial
properties in New England since 1988. If you have questions about how Great Falls
