PERI Software Solutions, Inc. to Display its Smart Grid Tech in DistribuTECH Conference and Exhibition in San Diego

PERI's Energy Practice Team meets utility and Energy Efficiency companies demands in cutting costs

SAN DIEGO, CA, January 27, 2011

PERI Software Solutions, Inc. plans to participate the DistribuTECH Conference and Exhibition (booth 2219) in San Diego, CA (Feb 01-03, 2011) at the convention center. DistribuTECH is the utility industry's leading smart grid conference and exposition, covering automation and control systems, energy efficiency, demand response, renewable energy integration, advanced metering, T&D system operation and reliability, power delivery equipment and water utility technology.

"We plan to discuss the latest hardware and software usage for smart grid technology," explained Sarav Periasamy, PERI Software. "Educating the public and showing the ROI to utility companies and the government will help officials share that information with ratepayers."

PERI has plenty of experience, too. Recently, its Energy Practice showed regulators and ratepayers examples of energy efficiency and security of smart grid technology in our presentations at NARUC conferences and at the annual national meeting last November in Atlanta.

And Tim Maurer, who heads PERI's Energy Practice, told Smart Grid Today (Jan. 03, 2011) PERI offers "custom software that will help utilities deploy new rate structures -- and, just as important, integrate this data and analytics into their back office systems."
