Good Cosmetic Dentistry Blends Technology with Compassion

For people already self-conscious about the cosmetic dentistry they may need, it's important to work with professionals who combine knowledge of the latest practices and technologies with understanding care and the human touch.

2011-01-28
ATLANTA, GA, January 28, 2011 (Press-News.org) "People with chipped, discolored, or missing teeth take a brave first step when they visit a cosmetic dentist," said Bernee Dunson, D.D.S. "While technology makes it easier to achieve a perfect smile, we also emphasize making patients feel confident and cared for."

"Our practice is focused on innovation," Dunson said. "Patients must feel comfortable that the team is on top of cutting-edge techniques, too."

Dr. Dunson is one of the few restorative dentists in Georgia who holds licensing needed to perform IV sedation. Distinctions like that, he said, stand in contrast from other practices like Atlanta Center for Cosmetic Dentistry, who often focus on how nice the offices should be rather than the dentistry team's most up-to-date experience.

Backing this up is Dr. Dunson's busy schedule for continued training in restorative and implant dentistry. His offices have hosted a national "Implant 101" learning series that included lectures, live surgery and hands-on practical experience. He has lectured on dental implantology in the US, India and other countries. This includes Dr. Dunson's work on bone manipulation in the Persian Gulf.

Dunson Dental Design's offices are in midtown Atlanta. The practice mainly serves downtown and midtown patients with cosmetic dentistry options that range from teeth whitening and crowns to full dental veneers. Visitors to the offices and website can view testimonials like one from satisfied patients like Randell Hawkins, who called his own client experience "perfect" and extolled the practice's customer care.
