Avista Solutions Completes Integration With FHA Connection

CHARLESTON, SC, January 29, 2011 (Press-News.org) Avista Solutions, a leading provider of web-based mortgage loan origination software, announces its latest integration with FHA Connection, an online portal that gives FHA-approved lenders direct access to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's (HUD) FHA loan origination functions.

Avista's FHA Connection interface allows customers to easily assign FHA case numbers and request CAIVRS authentication without leaving the Avista Agile LOS . With applicable user rights, Avista users can edit, submit and view FHA case files through FHA Connection's Case Number Assignment feature, and request CAIVRS authentication for FHA loan applicants using FHA Connection's CAIVRS Authentication tool. The interface is also designed to automatically populate the 1003 forms of corresponding FHA loans with Case Number Assignment and CAIVRS Authentication data.

This new functionality increases the speed and accuracy of the FHA lending process for Avista customers by eliminating the need to enter duplicate FHA loan data onto 1003 forms manually. In addition, customers no longer have to visit the FHA Connection website for Case Number Assignment and CAIVRS Authentication task management.
