High Tech Lights LEDs - New Products Help Businesses & Consumers Conserve Energy and Reduce Power Costs

High Tech Lights, leading manufacturer of LED light bulbs in Honolulu, Hawaii, is making waves in the community by saving businesses money on energy costs and reducing power consumption.

2011-01-29
HONOLULU, HI, January 29, 2011 (Press-News.org) High Tech Lights, leading manufacturer of LED light bulbs in Honolulu, Hawaii, is making waves in the community by saving businesses money on energy costs and reducing power consumption. Our environmentally friendly products have already made an impact in our community with the help of our customers and clients.

One such customer is Hideyuki Sakurai, owner and operator of Shokudo Japanese Restaurant and Cuisine. Since 2005, Shokudo has been a favorite of Honolulu, with glowing reviews and reputation as an excellent dining experience. Since opening, Shokudo has been an active participant in the community. As Hide says, Shokudo "strives to be the most respected restaurant in the state of Hawai'i, and it is our wish to make the state of Hawai'i a better and healthier place through everything we do. We generate and donate proceeds to HHSAA (Hawaii High School Athletic Association) to support local athletes from our contributions in December, 2009 and January 2010. We have united with AQUA Resort Hotel, Wet'nWild Hawaii, and Lens Crafters to run the promotion for Toys for Tots program. Additionally, we are applying for Hawaii Greener Business program certified by the state of Hawai'i."

Shokudo has already made a major step in their transition to a Greener Business by replacing their previous halogen lighting with High Tech Lights LEDs, and is the first restaurant in Honolulu to entirely feature LEDs. Their decision to upgrade came of a desire to stand and lead the industry in an environmentally friendly direction, as well as to prove the cost effectiveness and convenience of superior LED lighting.

Our LEDs offer a wide range of benefits, from energy savings on your power usage and dollars on your bill, to much longer longer bulb life guaranteed in a limited 5 year warranty. Shokudo's switch from halogen to LEDs promises a return on their investment in well under a year.

In addition to the environmental and money saving benefits of High Tech Lights LED light bulbs, Shokudo has seen a positive reaction to the lighting ambience in the restaurant. Hide says, "Lots of people think of LEDs as having only a bluish, cool color. But we chose a warm white light for the LEDs in our restaurant, and this results in a pleasant ambience very similar to what we had previously. On top of that, the LED bulbs produce very little heat, so the restaurant is much cooler than before."

Five percent of Shokudo's investment in High Tech Lights LEDs will be donated to a school of their choice for our Lights for Learning: Hawaii program. Find out how you can be a part of the Lights for Learning: Hawaii program and begin your transformation to a more efficient, greener business today by calling (808)949-5337, or toll free 1-877-599-LEDS, or visit us at http://www.hightechlights.com today.

Businesses upgrading their lighting system may now also qualify for government rebates of up to 25% of their product costs.
