Credit Canada Offers Free Financial Counselling and Debt Management Programs

TORONTO, ON, January 30, 2011 (Press-News.org) Credit Canada is a not-for-profit organization for anyone in Canada who needs advice about how to handle money and reduce or eliminate debt.

Potential clients are eligible regardless of age, sex, race, creed or income level. Services, counselling and everything done is kept in complete confidence. Once Credit Canada understands the client's situation, they will help the client develop a low cost debt management plan that is suited to their finances and needs. In some cases, depending on the client's specific circumstances, they will be asked to make a small contribution towards on-going credit counselling services.

Credit Canada can arrange a debt management program and debt retirement program for the client, and relieve them of all the number crunching by handling their payments over time.

Usually, Credit Canada suggests that the client enter into a formal debt management program to help them pay their bills with less stress to themselves over time. Credit Canada will help develop a new budget with the client and ask their creditors to reduce their monthly payments to match the budget.
