Model Designer from Devart Delivers Ever More Convenient Working with Large Models!

New version of Entity Developer delivers ever more convenient working with large models with ability to create several diagrams per model.

2011-01-30
BUDAPEST, HUNGARY, January 30, 2011 (Press-News.org) Devart is glad to announce the release of Entity Developer for SQL Server 3.20, a powerful modeling and code generation tool for ADO.NET Entity Framework, and LINQ to SQL.

To better meet the needs of developers the new version of Entity Developer for SQL Server delivers greatly improved working with large models with ability to create several diagrams per model.

In case of large models containing many entities, the diagram may become too complex to understand and edit. To make model better understandable for developer, new Entity Developer allows splitting the model into several thematic diagrams, each one having a part of model entities. For example, all entities, related to sales may be placed on one diagram, and production entities - to another diagram.

Managing diagrams is very easy now. Model diagrams are displayed in the Diagrams node of the conceptual model in the Model Explorer. Here you can add a new diagram to your model, remove or rename existing model diagrams at any time.
If you generate a model from a database, you can split model into diagrams by schemas or create only one default diagram with all or part of the entities.

Model can have as many diagrams as you need, and each diagram may contain any model entities. When creating a new diagram, you may immediately choose model entities to display on it.

More information about Entity Developer you can find on http://www.devart.com/entitydeveloper/overview.html

Pricing and Availability
Entity Developer for SQL Server 3.20 comes in two editions: free Express Edition that is limited to 10 entities in the project and does not allow customization of code templates, and Standard edition that is a fully-functional application.
Standard edition of Entity Developer for SQL Server is available for a price of $199.95.
Please, feel free to download the free version and try the standard version of Entity Developer for SQL Server 3.20 from http://www.devart.com/entitydeveloper/download.html
