Chicago Web Design Company, Design & Promote, Gives Back To The Community

Design & Promote, a Chicago Web Design Company, gives back to the community, offering their web design skills to local organizations such as Kids Matter, Holy Cross Church, and the Katie Lunn Memorial Fund.

2011-01-30
NAPERVILLE, IL, January 30, 2011 (Press-News.org) Design & Promote, a Chicago Web Design and SEO company, is finding ways to give back within the community. Bruce Jones, owner and founder of Design & Promote, and Chicago SEO expert, has enjoyed using his talents and generosity of his company to give back by providing pro-bono work to several organizations in the Chicagoland area.

Design & Promote provided web design, graphics, and training to Kids Matter ( http://www.kidsmatter2us.org/ ), a nonprofit organization located in Naperville that helps youth build and maintain positive relationships. The Chicago Web Design firm felt strongly that an organization such as Kids Matter needed a website that would promote their cause and up their profile. "We really wanted to give them the graphics and design they needed to get people to listen to their message. We also wanted to make sure they knew how to use their site to get the best impact they could," Jones said.

Holy Cross Church ( http://www.holycrosschurchjustice.org/ ) in Justice, IL needed a church website design that would allow them to expand their mission and purpose. Design & Promote donated their website design, graphics, and training, feeling strongly that church web design was a special niche they could really add value to. "We knew we could give them the kind of site that would promote their ideals and beliefs," Jones said.

Katie Lunn Memorial Fund ( http://www.katielunn.org ) works to help others live to their full potential and to make a difference and inspire people to do the same. After a tragic accident took the life of Katie Lunn in April 2010, her family and friends put together a memorial fund to honor her life and provide scholarships and other services to families in need. The organization was in need of a functional website and Design & Promote donated the website design as well as their time to train the people behind the site. "We were so touched by this story that we couldn't not give something," Bruce said. "It's such a sad story but miraculously, it's turning into something great. We wanted to be a part of that."

The Jordan Family Sports Foundation (JFSF) works to give children of lower economic status the same athletic opportunities as children with higher economic means. They had a website, but needed website hosting. "They already had a website so they didn't need our website design services, so we had to think of another way to help JFSF. We finally realized we could host their website to take some of the financial burden off and leave more resources for the kids they're helping," Jones said.

Design & Promote gives back to their community several times a year.
