Miss North Texas To Visit Trade Days Of Waxahachie Texas

(Waxahachie, Texas - February 2011) Miss North Texas International will be paying a special visit to Trade Days of Waxahachie Texas on February 13, 2011 from 12pm to 4pm.

SAN ANTONIO, TX, January 31, 2011 (Press-News.org) Trade Days opened in March 2009 under management of Waxahachie Vendor Group, LLC. They are a monthly two-day event held rain or shine. Trade Days opens the weekend preceding the second Monday of each month in a large non climate controlled facility that offers 100 vendor spaces. Their outside covered area offers 100 spaces and open air spaces are available as well. Trade Days offers handmade arts and crafts, commercial items, metal arts, woodwork items, leather goods, candles, jewelry, clothing & accessories, knife sharpening, knitted and crochet items, baby comforters, stuffed animals, antiques, plants during season, monogramming, bath & body items, gourmet food items, food concessions and more. Trade Days of Waxahachie Texas is located in the Ellis County Expo Center at 2300 W US Highway 287 Bypass in Waxahachie. They are three miles west of Waxahachie and seven miles east of Midlothian, a 30-minute drive south of the Dallas Area and 45-minute drive southeast of the Fort Worth Area.

About Miss North Texas:

Rachael Lynee Burns is the current Miss North Texas International who will be competing for Miss Texas International on March 13, 2011 in San Antonio. Her platform is Child Abuse Prevention and Recovery, which she is very passionate about and hopes to be able to take this passion to a statewide and ultimately international level. Her passion for this subject comes from her experience as a child. She states, "We can't prevent most child abuse cases, but we can stop it and help people recover from it." Miss North Texas is an ambassador for the National Children's Alliance who works closely with the Children's Advocacy Centers of Texas. You may have seen her at various events throughout the metroplex, or on Good Morning Texas, or other local news stations. She is very active in the North Texas community and has appeared at such events as The Teddy Bear Ride for the Children's Advocacy Center of Collin County, MotorCops for Kids, and "Ride for Kids" for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation to name a few. She is very excited to be paying her second visit to Trade Days of Waxahachie Texas!
