FRANCE, February 02, 2011 (Press-News.org) BeanAir's constant endeavor is to provide a full packaged solution for our customers. In that way, we offer Scilab Scripts for advanced users. Fully developed by BeanAir, these scripts integrates FFT (Fast Fourier Transform) and PPV (Peak Particle Velocity) algorithms for digital filtering on vibration & shocks signal measured by the BeanDevice AX-3D (Wireless Tri-axial accelerometer). Essentially based on Scilab software tool (free open source application), customers can easily have an access to the source code of the scripts for a full customization. Scripts are provided for free with a starter kit including the BeanDevice AX-3D from SmartSensor product series. By providing the scripts as an add-on with the BeanScape application, the measurement log files could be digitally processed and a spectrum could be obtained or the amplitude and the frequency could be determined.

MATLAB code, which is similar in syntax, can be converted to Scilab. Scilab is one of several open source alternatives to MATLAB.
