BeanAir Made Simple Customization of Scripts for Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN)
By providing the scripts as an add-on with the BeanScape application, the measurement log files could be digitally processed and a spectrum could be obtained or the amplitude and the frequency could be determined.

BeanAir's constant endeavor is to provide a full packaged solution for our customers. In that way, we offer Scilab Scripts for advanced users. Fully developed by BeanAir, these scripts integrates FFT (Fast Fourier Transform) and PPV (Peak Particle Velocity) algorithms for digital filtering on vibration & shocks signal measured by the BeanDevice AX-3D (Wireless Tri-axial accelerometer). Essentially based on Scilab software tool (free open source application), customers can easily have an access to the source code of the scripts for a full customization. Scripts are provided for free with a starter kit including the BeanDevice AX-3D from SmartSensor product series. By providing the scripts as an add-on with the BeanScape application, the measurement log files could be digitally processed and a spectrum could be obtained or the amplitude and the frequency could be determined.BeanAir , a French manufacturer of smart "Plug and Play" Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) dedicated to industrial machine monitoring, embedded measurement, engineering structure & building management system, isolated sites & harsh environment. BeanAir provides wireless sensors for both dynamic measurement (vibration, shock and deformation) as well as static measurement (temperature, humidity, tilt, binary and analog measurement). Its wireless technology has a very high availability rate in harsh environments.
Scilab is an open source, cross-platform numerical computational package and a high-level, numerically oriented programming language. It can be used for signal processing, statistical analysis, image enhancement, fluid dynamics simulations, numerical optimization, and modeling and simulation of explicit and implicit dynamical systems. MATLAB code, which is similar in syntax, can be converted to Scilab. Scilab is one of several open source alternatives to MATLAB.
