PIGEON, MI, February 03, 2011 (Press-News.org) Seasons Change Home Health Care will be participating in a Roof Sit on February 4, 2011 at McDonald's Food & Family Center in Bad Axe, Michigan from 11:00AM to 1:00PM. The Roof Sit is Huron County CA/N Council's largest yearly fundraiser. CA/N Council is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization focused on preventing child abuse and neglect.
The Roof Sit invites individuals to form teams of six and to compete against other teams to raise the most funds. The event will take place on February 4, 2011 from 8:00AM to 5:00PM. Teams are asked to have one member on the roof at all times, while others work the Soup Station, Warming and Greeting Tables. Teams are also encouraged to bring a team banner, table decorations, team matching clothes, or accessories to help them promote their team and encourage donations.
The Roof Sit is the Council's largest fundraiser, raising more than $10,000 in prevention dollars each year to counter the neglect and abuse observed across the United States. In the US, nearly four children each day, or 1,300 each year, die from abuse or neglect. In Michigan, every five minutes a child is the reported victim of child abuse or neglect. For every $1 of prevention spent, $34 will be saved in crisis intervention.
Diana Hennrick, Business Development Manager of Seasons Change Home Health Care, Inc., explains why this is an important event, "Seasons Change Home Health Care is committed to doing everything possible to project the innocent, both children and elderly. The Roof Sit is an ideal way to get involved with the community and support a great cause."
Seasons Change Home Health Care provides home healthcare services for the elderly and disabled. More Bad News for Canadian Small Business? Expert Speaks Out on Internet Metering
2011-02-03
"With this latest CRTC ruling on Internet metering, Canada shows once again it does not care about small business," says Greg Kopchuk, Edmonton-based ML of ActionCOACH Canada, the world's #1 business coaching firm.
On Jan 28, the CRTC issued a ruling that "smaller Canadian Internet service providers, who operate via networks owned by bigger telecom firms such as BCE, will soon have to pass along the bulk of their host's charges for extra bandwidth use." (Victoria Times-Colonist, Jan 28, 2011).

The Issue of Child Custody in Bucks County...and Why Mediation and Collaborative Law Are the Only Answers
