PHUKET, THAILAND, February 08, 2011 (Press-News.org) The 4th StudyMalaysia Education Fair 2011 (East Malaysia) is a chance for students and accompanying parents to find out about the multitude of options available for the next stage in their education after leaving school. Over 30 exhibitors will be presenting at the event, made up of both universities and private institutions, to ensure that pupils can view an extensive variety of courses available to them.
Of the 30 exhibitors this will also include a representation of 100 education centers providing information on different academic programmes and an outline of the syllabus and facilities at each institution. At the event attendees will also be given the chance to attend free personality tests to help determine what career is suitable for them along with seminars on the qualifications needed to study at different destinations abroad.
With over 10,000 visitors expected to attend finding hotels Kota Kinabula may be more difficult around the dates of 5th and 6th March 2011 with the high number of students and their families.
Lek Boonlert, marketing head at DirectRooms.com, commented: "The education fair is a chance for students to assess the variety of options for the next stage in their education. It's well attended by pupils from all over East Malaysia and this can cause hotels in the region to be booked out so searching online for places early is advisable."

How to Love Your Dog - Valentine's Day Tips from Doggone Safe
2011-02-08
Children (and adults too) often want to show love to dogs the way we show love to each other, through hugs and kisses. Dogs do not naturally understand this, or even enjoy it. Hugs and face-to-face contact can be very threatening to dogs. The dog may tolerate this for a while, but at some point may bite or snap to protect himself once he has exhausted all his means of more subtle warning. Some dogs do enjoy a hug from a special person, if it is on their terms and done with some extra scratching on the chest. Few, if any dogs enjoy hugs the way young children do this, which ...

OAI Discusses Significance of an Auto Insurance Co.'s Financial Rating
2011-02-08
Statistics have shown that a majority of consumers look only for the cheapest auto insurance companies when shopping for coverage, but this predominant emphasis on price may be leading drivers to overlook other key factors.
Financial status, for instance, often carries little weight for the average consumer. But researching this aspect of a carrier can give policyholders the assurance that they are paying hundreds or thousands of dollars in premiums every year to an insurance company that is--and will remain--capable of making good on that coverage.
An inherent ...

Michigan Law and The Hostile Work Environment
2011-02-08
There is a concept in the employment world called hostile work environment. The concept in law is different from the one in most people's heads. Many people who have a boss that yells or creates a high stress working environment are victims of a hostile work environment in the literal sense, but that kind of environment is not necessarily illegal. To have a boss that yells or makes employees cry is not an uncommon phenomenon in the United States, and the law does not prevent it--except when the motivation is discriminatory. A hostile work environment, in the legal sense, ...
How to Achieve Good Results Without Filing a Lawsuit
2011-02-08
The conventional wisdom is that you litigate the big cases with good facts. While that is generally true, it's often a mistake to forgo attempts at pre-suit mediation in such cases. In virtually every case I plan to litigate, I reach out to the other side prior to suit and explore settlement, often with surprisingly good results. In particularly sensitive cases - sex harassment, for example, where even a successful lawsuit more often than not re-victimizes my clients - I will push for early media multi-year discrimination suit. It was truly the best outcome for everyone ...
