DEERFIELD, BEACH, FL, February 09, 2011 (Press-News.org) Securenet Systems, Inc., a web development and streaming services provider located in Deerfield Beach, Florida, announces the launch of Promusic.fm, the new music and social gaming platform that offers free streaming music, new artist discovery, and promotion via their animated virtual concert social game, The Music Promoter Game. The site was developed under exclusive contract by Securenet Systems for Allworks Media, the company headed by former Premiere Radio Networks co-founder, Roger Schnur.
"Promusic.fm is about engagement," said Mr. Schnur, "We're offering an exciting new type of experience designed to motivate frequent, repeat visits and user interaction. Our goal is to keep visitors entertained and on-site longer as they interact with our music and game, and advertisers."
First time visitors are offered the opportunity to listen to pre-designed playlists, or they can create their own personal playlist by selecting their favorite genres of music to play in a continuous multi-genre mix. Songs are played randomly from the genres selected by the user and up to 100 genres can be chosen per playlist. The listening experience is akin to having a multi-CD player with the "random" button selected which makes song segues more exciting and less predictable.
Promusic.fm also offers a song promotion and research service called ProPlay where emerging artists can have their songs inserted adjacent to more popular artists of the same genre. When their song plays, a feedback survey appears offering the listener the opportunity to become a fan, rate the song, follow on Twitter, share on Facebook and more. The artist gets valuable research data and the opportunity to have their music virally promoted by their "fans" when they play The Music Promoter Game. This is an online, dual currency social game within Promusic.fm where listeners can use Pro Coinz (virtual currency) awarded to them to create animated concerts by purchasing their stage, sound system, lighting, and backgrounds. Additional HD backgrounds can also be purchased with Pro Cash ("paid for" virtual currency).
"Our social game is really where the fun begins," Schnur continues, "Players start as a 'Part Time Promoter' and work their way up to being a 'Big Time Promoter' with potentially tens of thousands of friends available to experience our ProPlay artists' songs. As they progress, they are rewarded with additional Pro Coinz based on the number of people they invite who respond to view and listen to their virtual concert. They'll also be able to post their achievements within the game on their Facebook wall as well as win real prizes."
"We see Promusic.fm as an incredibly powerful viral promotion tool for any recording artist looking to build awareness and boost their online presence," says music industry expert, Tom Callahan. "The ProPlay service also gives us an early indication of how well a new song will be received by the very fans we plan on marketing it to, so before we commit to investing we can better predict a song's potential success."
