Regency Heights Of Stamford Receives "Deficiency Free" Rating On State Survey

Regency Heights of Stamford, formerly known as Courtland Gardens, has received a deficiency free survey from the State of Connecticut Department of Public Health

2011-02-09
FARMINGTON HILLS, MI, February 09, 2011 (Press-News.org) Regency Heights of Stamford, formerly known as Courtland Gardens, has received a deficiency free survey from the State of Connecticut Department of Public Health.

Nursing facilities are inspected and evaluated yearly by the Department of Public Health to ensure the facility is in compliance with federal and state regulations. On average, less than one percent of all Connecticut nursing facilities receive a deficiency free survey.

Inspection surveys are unannounced and conducted on-site over a several day period. The inspection team evaluates all aspects of resident care and nursing facility procedures and practices, assessing facility compliance with hundreds of specific state and federal standards.

"At Regency Heights of Stamford, the needs and well-being of our residents come first," said Grace Flight, administrator, Regency Heights of Stamford. "Every member of our staff is truly dedicated to this community, and this achievement is testament to our ongoing commitment to our residents and families."

"We are truly honored the facility has achieved this survey result. At Regency Heights of Stamford, we inherited a dedicated team of professionals who deliver only the highest level of patient care," adds Jonathan Neagle, regional director of operations, Regency Healthcare Management, LLC, which manages Regency Heights of Stamford. "While compliance is key in such a highly regulated industry, the survey findings underscore our goal of creating an environment of excellence in meeting and exceeding our residents' needs."

Regency Healthcare is affiliated with Michigan-based Ciena Healthcare.
