Smart-AVI, Inc. Expands Its Family of KVM Switches with the VNet+ Series

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA, February 16, 2011 (Press-News.org) SmartAVI, Inc., a world-leading innovator of digital signage and video/audio/control signal distribution and switching over UTP/STP and fiber optic cable, has expanded its KVM switch family with the new VNet+ series . The new line of VGA KVM's is inspired by the success of the DVNet series of DVI KVMs and by the needs of SmartAVI's customers.

The VNet+ series KVMs are available in 2, 4, 8 and 16 port versions. They are all cross-platform KVMs, capable of sharing a WUXGA (1920x1200) display and USB keyboard and mouse. The 2 and 4 port models also include stereo audio. Designed to centralize the management of several computers into a single console, the VNet+ series KVM can be used for corporate, factory, campus and many other applications. It is hotplug capable so computers may be disconnected and reconnected without powering them off. Inputs can be selected quickly using hotkeys or the individual tact switches on the front panel.
