In Aid of the following Forces Charities:

The Rifles Care for Casualties
Since February 2007 Rifles battalions have been deployed almost continually on operations, the intensity and ferocity of that has cost the lives of 53 Riflemen Killed in Action with a further 290 seriously injured. Of these, in excess of 40 have sustained life changing physical injuries which will require long term assistance. In addition, it is anticipated that many veterans will suffer from psychological problems at some stage in the future. The Rifles Charities must therefore significantly increase the amount of financial benevolence at its disposal to meet future needs.

Our charity was set up in September 2009 and aims to help the Welsh service personnel or those attached to the Welsh regiments and their families. The purpose of this Charity is twofold, firstly to raise money which will enable us to provided grants for items such as specialised equipment to holidays. These grants will be available to any Welsh service personnel and or their families or those who have served with or attached to a Welsh regiment.
