Set amongst Wiltshire's Historic Towns and Salisbury Plains Military training area, Tidworth is the starting place for the Centurion Challenge, which also takes in the old Roman towns of Marlborough, Avebury and Devizes.
With the choice of two distances; 50 or 100km to be covered in 24hrs, the Centurion Challenge has been developed by ex members of our Special Forces, based on experiences gained during their selection to each specialist force. Set to an achievable standard, each route will test both your endurance and stamina.

The Rifles Care for Casualties
Since February 2007 Rifles battalions have been deployed almost continually on operations, the intensity and ferocity of that has cost the lives of 53 Riflemen Killed in Action with a further 290 seriously injured. Of these, in excess of 40 have sustained life changing physical injuries which will require long term assistance. In addition, it is anticipated that many veterans will suffer from psychological problems at some stage in the future. The Rifles Charities must therefore significantly increase the amount of financial benevolence at its disposal to meet future needs.

Welsh Warrior
This foundation has been set up in memory of Pte Richard Hunt. A brave 'Welsh Warrior' who was the 200th soldier to lose his life whist serving in Afghanistan. Our charity was set up in September 2009 and aims to help the Welsh service personnel or those attached to the Welsh regiments and their families. The purpose of this Charity is twofold, firstly to raise money which will enable us to provided grants for items such as specialised equipment to holidays. These grants will be available to any Welsh service personnel and or their families or those who have served with or attached to a Welsh regiment. Grants will be given at the discretion of the trustees.
