LONDON, ENGLAND, February 17, 2011 (Press-News.org) Cecile Reinaud, the founder and designer at Seraphine picked up their latest prestigious award at the ceremony in London which was presented by beatboxing champion Beardyman.
This coveted trophy for the fashion industry is a great reward for the team behind the maternity clothes label. Speaking of their win Cecile says;
" It's a great honour to get the recognition for our label and the quality of our online service. It sets the tone for a very successful 2011, we have just launched our website in America and hope to replicate the success we have in the United Kingdom and France with our online sales.
As a designer my passion is to make pregnant women feel beautiful and radiant for the journey to motherhood - our shopping sites enables them to get the best outfit at the click of a button- and that makes my job a very rewarding one!".
Seraphine opened 8 years ago with their first maternity store in trendy Notting-hill, followed by second one in Hampstead, North London, but as the internet revolution marched on it became evident that online shopping would overtake all other distribution avenues. Drapers praised Seraphine for "making maternity wear truly fashionable, with a comprehensive celebrity following adding to the sparkle of this business". Indeed with A listers such as Dannii Minogue, Jessica Alba, Agelina Jolie and Halle Berry wearing Seraphine, it's no wonder the brand as a long list of fans. With signature designs that ooze French chic- Cecile herself being Parisian born- the clothes are also incredibly versatile, most of them converting into breastfeeding options post pregnancy. For pregnant women needing stylish wardrobes the future looks bright with Seraphine going from strength to strength.
Seraphine was launched in 2001 with the opening of the first boutique in Notting Hill, London by Parisian stylist Cecile Reinaud. The first collection received rave reviews from the fashion press and London mums-to-be and Seraphine quickly developed a high profile celebrity following. They now have a second shop in Hampstead and sell online. Fans of Seraphine include, Angelina Jolie, Halle Berry, Jessica Alba, Claudia Schiffer, Reese Witherspoon and Anna Friel.
