Certifications and Expertise Acknowledged Nationwide

2011-02-17
MILLINGTON, TN, February 17, 2011 (Press-News.org) Unistar-Sparco Computers, Inc. (Unistar-Sparco), announced today that it has been named an authorized partner in International Business Machines' (IBM) Software Value Plus program. This allows Unistar-Sparco to be a certified vendor of IBM software products including: Tivoli, WebSphere, Lotus, Rational, IM Data Management, Optim, and InfoSphere and will increase their already extensive U.S. federal government GSA Schedule product list. The additional authorization will propel the company, a Premier IBM Business Partner, to the forefront of IT solution providers nationwide.

"We are one of the only federal contractors who are certified as an 8(a) firm, have thousands of products and services on multiple GSA Schedules and now offer the noted IBM software as an SVP Partner" said Shin Tan, Sales Manager. "Unistar-Sparco is very honored to be an authorized partner of IBM. To be affiliated with a world leader in software services speaks greatly to our mission here at Unistar-Sparco. We are committed to providing our clients with quality products, and now we are in an even better position to do so."

With the Software Value Plus (SVP) program, IBM has expanded its already successful business partner program. The difference between SVP and other IBM purchasing mediums is that only a select number of companies have been named an SVP partner. As an authorized partner, Unistar-Sparco has successfully completed several certifications and tests to demonstrate they possess the necessary skills and experiences to represent IBM as solutions experts.
