Real World Leadership Radio Brings Guest Dr. Jim Tavantzis To Discuss Navigating Your Career

Real World Leadership blog radio interviews guest Dr. Jim Tavantzis this Wednesday at 12 noon to discuss how to navigate your career.

NASHUA, NH, February 17, 2011

Are you wondering how to navigate career waters in today's economy? Navigating Your Career will explore how leaders in today's business climate can take control and ownership of their own career development.

We are all faced with and responsible for crossing the sea of life. And we all know the sea can be unpredictable and that preparation for the unknown best lies in knowing your strengths as well as your resources. Over the past 17 years, we have found that being prepared involves clearly understanding 8 well researched factors that lead to personal effectiveness as well as integrating them into a personal strategic plan for oneself. Dr. Jim Tavantzis and Real World Leader radio will leave you with a navigational plan so you can arrive at your destination. You can listen to the program recording online.

An organizational and leadership psychologist, Dr Tavantzis has over 25 years of experience as a consultant and coach. He has mostly worked with leaders and teams in global pharmaceutical, and energy industries, as well as with federal and local government agencies and with hundreds of individuals on a one-to-one basis (primarily with leaders, managers, scientists, engineers, and lawyers, people in the emerging adult stage of life, as well as people ages 18-60). He coaches individuals and groups. One of Tom's many talents is being able use complex and scientific psychometric tools and translate findings into ongoing applied behavioral understanding and change for his clients in a supportive, fun, caring but firm manner.

Since 1996 Tom has been Director of the Organizational Psychology and Leadership program at Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia. He is the author of numerous articles and chapters on leadership, assessment and team development. His latest book was "Don't Waste Your Talent," (2005, 2nd Ed.) His third book "Hard-Wired: Your Talents at Work" will be published shortly.
