Bicharaf to Host Pivotal Leadership Camp on Academic Integrity for Lebanese High School Students
Bicharaf, the initiative for academic integrity and business ethics in the Arab region, is hosting a key two-day leadership camp on February 18-19 to prepare Lebanese high school students to become leaders in issues of academic integrity.

Bicharaf, the initiative for academic integrity and business ethics in the Arab region, is hosting a key two-day leadership camp on February 18-19 to prepare Lebanese high school students to become leaders in issues of academic integrity. The camp will take place at Bethania Conference Center in Harissa, Lebanon.Students from 25+ high schools across Lebanon will engage in hands-on use of technology, from blogging to social media, to sustain their efforts to promote a culture of academic honor in their schools.
Dr. Tony Feghali, founder of Bicharaf and director of the Olayan School of Business Entrepreneurship Initiative, will kick off the opening ceremony by addressing how academic integrity impacts students' college careers.
Feghali remarks, "Bicharaf Leadership Camp targets student leaders in grades 10 through 12. These students are closer to official exam cycles and are approaching university-level education, a new chapter in their academic lives."
Dr. Don McCabe, professor of management and global business at Rutgers University and founder of the International Center for Academic Integrity based at Clemson University, will deliver the keynote address on Saturday, February 19.
Students will participate in a spectrum of activities and mini-workshops at the camp, including how to begin Bicharaf Clubs at their schools and how to use social media to promote academic integrity. Teachers and parents are also invited to strategic sessions from 1 pm to 6 pm on Saturday at the camp, in order to create a community of academic honor both inside and outside school.
Administrators and teachers identified exemplary leaders and active students to participate in Bicharaf Leadership Camp. This leadership camp will provide students with opportunities to network with other schools within the Bicharaf network.
