DAM Vendor celum Begins 2011 With A 60% Increase In Sales

As predicted by Frost & Sullivan last spring, celum succeeded in securing new customers and strengthening their leading position within the DAM industry.

2011-02-18
LINZ, AUSTRIA, February 18, 2011 (Press-News.org) During the past 12 months, celum opened offices in France, the UK, and the USA. Over 80 new enterprise clients have begun using the core products celum IMAGINE and celum SWIFT to automate marketing, sales, IR, PR, and communications processes. This tremendous growth in 31 countries increased celum's revenue by almost 60%, doubling profits for the growing company.
Due to an increasing demand for accelerated software development and a growing presence in global markets, celum invested heavily in its human capital─from 32 employees in January 2010 to over 70 staff members today.

"Due to the large number of new customers secured throughout 2010, celum holds a top position in the overall DAM market and is the clear industry leader in Europe by sales volume and company size", states Michael J. Kraeftner, celum CEO. "In 2011, we intend to continue our successful growth strategy by meeting the future needs of our customers with high quality, innovative products"

celum, founded in 1999, will open its new global headquarters in Linz, Austria in spring 2011. Celum's new international research and development center will be situated on one hectare within the Linzer green belt.

The new headquarters, ARK 1, will be fully operational in May 2011. At 1,500m², it will provide workspace for up to 90 employees and almost no carbon emissions. ARK1 will be equipped with several state-of-the-art technologies making the new HQ a green, ultra-low energy building.

The HQ's grand opening will coincide with the annual celum SUMMIT. The SUMMIT has established itself as an inspiring forum for partners, customers and prospects from around the world to come together and discuss the future of digital asset management. Lectures, workshops and training sessions offer insights into celum's new developments and products. The new headquarters will create the perfect atmosphere and enable participants to experience celum's unique company culture firsthand.

In 2011, celum wants to continue playing a pivotal role in shaping how people access, use, and apply rich content and content information.
Michael J. Kraeftner: "After two years of development, we are proud to unveil the new eDAM technology STINGRAY, the universal rich content platform, at the celum SUMMIT."
STINGRAY technology addresses the needs of multinational corporations and companies. For the first time, the extreme demands on performance and data volume of multinationals can be addressed with this unique solution.
"This technology will eclipse all digital asset and rich content management solutions currently on the market," predicts Michael J. Kraeftner.

celum is the leading software company for enterprise digital asset management solutions. Our products automate and accelerate communication, marketing, and sales processes; reduce costs; and help our customers achieve greater flexibility in day-to-day operations. Over 350,000 users, from more than 450 companies in 31 countries, rely on celum software to deliver efficiency in digital asset management.
