Brimstone and the Hound Comics creative team launch promotional tour in their own backyard

2011-02-18
NEW YORK, NY, February 18, 2011 (Press-News.org) As Hound Comics gears up to embark on its 2011 promotional road trip; they decided to start things off with a little impromptu pre-tour signing in their own backyard. On February 19th CEO's William 'Brimstone' Kucmierowski and Marcello Carnevali will be autographing the 'Brimstone and The Borderhounds' comic book in the same location that the comic was originally announced a few years earlier; the New York Comic Book Marketplace. "It very rewarding to finally make our way back to our hometown of the Big Apple where it all began." says Carnevali. Event organizer, Mike Carbonaro is ecstatic about the appearance; he states, "We are proud to have Brimstone as one of our celebrity guests. People like him are what make our events SUPER!" The Hounds will be appearing from 10am to 6pm at the Hotel Pennsylvania located at 401 Seventh Avenue, 18th Floor, NY, NY. Admission is FREE and autographed copies of the comic will be available for a nominal fee.

All this comes just one week prior to the initial kick-off of Brimstone's tour with the true kings of pop culture conventions, Wizard World Entertainment. The Hound Comics creative team will be uniting at the Miami Airport Convention Center on February 26th and 27th to celebrate the World Premiere Sneak Peek of 'Brimstone and The Borderhounds: The Animated Series' at the Wizard World Miami Comic Book and Pop Culture convention. Hound Comics, and their partners in the animated series Floating Pear Productions, are projecting that Borderhound fans will love the animated adaptation and are impatiently awaiting the highly anticipated sneak peek. Attendees of the screening will receive a FREE Collector's Edition Borderhounds Wristband by Bandeez (while supplies last). If all of this wasn't exciting enough; SGN Games will also be presenting the 'first look' at the long-awaited Borderhounds video game in development for the i-Products, Xbox LIVE and the Playstation Network.

The Hound Comics team is very happy with the success of Brimstone and The Borderhounds since it's worldwide re-release early January. "We certainly attribute a great portion of our recent success to our retail distributers Barnes & Noble and Amazon who've been an integral part of our marketing plan." says Allen Chickering, Hound Comics CNO. He continues, "We've been blessed that the title as a whole has managed to garner a vast range of media attention and has been met with extraordinary reviews!" The other factor in the success of Hound is our strategic partnership with the Toledo Group's innovative comic book specific division. "Nick and the staff at Toledo have truly helped us raise the bar of print quality that our fans have fallen in love with!" says Sajad Shah, Hound Comics co-founder and SVP. Toledo's Nick Sachs responds, "Comicbookprinting.com is excited to be included in the success of the Brimstone and the Borderhounds comic series. As the leading printer of independent comics, we are pleased that Brimstone and his team trust our company to bring their visions to the comic community."
