Elite Cambridge Business Circle holds symposium on economic development

The Elite Cambridge Business Circle is holding a symposium on "The Future of Sustainable Economic Development in Cambridgeshire" later this month.

CAMBRIDGE, ENGLAND, September 06, 2010 (Press-News.org) The Elite Cambridge Business Circle is holding a symposium on "The Future of Sustainable Economic Development in Cambridgeshire" later this month.

The event will take place at the next business breakfast networking meeting of the Elite Cambridge Business Circle, at 8am on the morning of Thursday 30 September in the boardroom of the Clydesdale Bank, Terrington House, 1st Floor, 13-15 Hills Road, Cambridge, CB2 1NL, courtesy of managing partner Martin Guildford.

The main platform speakers will be:

* Dr Julian Huppert, MP for Cambridge
* Sir David Trippier, Chairman, Cambridgeshire Horizons
* John Bridge OBE, Chief Executive, Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce
* Ken Ford, Retired City stockbroker, Cambridge resident and investor.
* Tony Orgee, Cabinet Member for Economy and Environment, Cambridgeshire Council
* Martin Garratt, Director of Greater Cambridge Partnership

After a short address by each of the main platform speakers, there will follow a general debate, open to all, chaired by Jenny Chapman, Business Editor of the "Cambridge News".

The cost is GBP10 per delegate, which includes refreshments.
