WETHERSFIELD, CT, February 20, 2011 (Press-News.org) Scott Boden, M.D., a board certified hair transplant surgeon and medical director of Hair Restoration and Aesthetic Medicine Center of Connecticut in Wethersfield, will be an instructor at the 17th Annual International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS) Live Surgery Workshop in Orlando, Florida from March 16 - 19th. Dr. Boden will teach a session on treating radiation-induced hair loss with the follicular unit hair transplantation technique. He will also serve as a surgical coordinator and demonstrate follicular unit transplantation techniques in one of the live surgery workshops.
Dr. Boden previously presented research posters at the 2010 ISHRS Seminar in Boston, documenting his treatment of two women who experienced radiation induced hair loss.
The ISHRS Live Surgery Workshop is in its 17th year of providing an intense educational forum in hair restoration. The Workshop offers clinical training in hair transplantation by the leading experts in the field. This year's program will showcase a comprehensive surgical and scientific curriculum with 14 live surgeries. More than 1600 doctors from 49 countries will attend this year's Live Surgery Workshop.
