Craving a new place to dine or dash? Cravings open new Marshfield location.
KINGSTON, MA, February 21, 2011
Craving artisan pizza, charbroiled Angus burgers, sumptuous wraps, hand cut fries or killer cup cakes? The opening of Cravings Cafe at 1853 Ocean Street, Route 139, in Marshfield Center can now fulfill that craving. The cozy, comfortable, 2,500 square foot, 48 seat restaurant is the second Cravings Cafe. The new venture employs 25 people. The original Cravings location was launched in Kingston Center four years ago on Valentine's Day.
The new Marshfield cafe features free wi-fi and is open from 7 a.m. - 9 p.m. on Monday through Thursday and Sunday and 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
Kingston residents and newlyweds Peter and Jasmine Karassik are the proud owners of the chain's first franchise. The couple, married in September, can be found behind the counter and attending to every detail. You could call it a culinary honeymoon.
"We are very pleased with how the restaurant build out went and how we've been able to duplicate the success of our Kingston location," noted Jay Johnson, co-founder of the Cravings Cafe. "I know Marshfield area residents will be delighted by the environment when they walk in the door and thrilled when they sample our expansive menu of fresh, high quality ingredients."
The new bistro satisfies three meal cravings. Consider bagels, muffins and flavored coffees for breakfast, a wide range of subs, wraps, salads and soups for lunch and a hearty array of charbroiled burgers and pizza for dinner.
South Shore residents already attest to the winning cuisine which includes paninis such as their popular Turkey Gobbler, Chicken Caesar and Traditional as well as Turkey Rueben; wraps that range from Cranberry Pecan Chicken Salad to Arugula Strawberry; artisan pizza that go beyond the expected such as Blue Buffalo, Lemon and Margarita Muchacho; subs that not only fill you up, but seriously satisfy; jumbo cupcakes that seduce your sweet tooth including "Oh My God" Coconut, Chocolate Peanut Butter and Luscious Lemon; breakfast pizza that are worth waking up for; big juicy burgers that will challenge your appetite; hand-cut Pomme Frites also known as Belgian French Fries; savory salads including Cobb, Greek and Caesar; oven fresh pastries; fresh brewed coffee including lattes and cappuccinos; and sizzling soups. The restaurant also features cheery wait staff and an upscale and comfortable, open interior.
Jasmine Karassik comes from a restaurant lineage. Her parents own four McDonald's in upstate New York. Peter Karassik also comes from entrepreneur stock - his family runs a building/development company in the Sudbury area. Oddly enough, the two met at a Red Sox bar in Manhattan called Professor Tom's while working in New York City.
The Cravings concept includes a manageable 2,000-3,000 square feet footprint. This provides ample space for an open floor plan to serve customers throughout the day. The modest size minimizes real estate expense. There are plans to award an additional three franchise licenses in 2011.

This might include new sales materials, publicity, a direct mail campaign, a micro telemarketing unit, or updating the content on your website.
Our clients seem to like the fact that:
1. Seasoned professionals work directly with them and on their account.
