In honor of Presidents' Day, ecology website, EcoHearth.com, publishes its picks for the five greenest U.S. chief executives.

BROOKLYN, NY, February 21, 2011 (Press-News.org) As part of it's ongoing 'Eco Heroes and Heels' Awards, this Presidents' Day, leading ecology website, EcoHearth.com, publishes its picks for the five most ecologically minded occupants of the Oval Office.

As the article announcing the list states, "None of them are perfect when it comes to ecology, but overall they've shown enough green concern that they rise to the top of the presidential crop." The list includes Jimmy Carter, Franklin Roosevelt, Teddy Roosevelt, Lyndon Johnson and Bill Clinton.

The announcement of this list comes one day after EcoHearth.com announced its list of the Least Environmental U.S. Presidents,' which includes Richard Nixon, George H. W. Bush, George W. Bush, Dwight Eisenhower and Ronald Reagan.
