PARIS, FRANCE, September 07, 2010 (Press-News.org) Driving enthusiasts may have already booked their Paris hotels to visit the Paris Motor Show later this year, which is set to show off a variety of new technological advances.
Running from October 2nd to 17th, this major event has a great selection of activities to take part in, as well as exhibitions discussing issues currently faced by the car industry.
Visitors can head down to the Paris Expo at Porte de Versailles to enjoy all the information presented by the companies involved.
For attendees interested in the state of emerging technologies, there is an entire hall dedicated to the creation of "clean cars", while others may enjoy popping into the EDF electric cars test centre.
Describing the event, the organisers remarked: "The occasion [is] for all fans of cars to get a comprehensive overview of the market under one roof, with the participation of all the global car manufacturers and [discovery of] numerous world premieres."
Among the exhibitors confirmed to take part in the event are Nissan, Land Rover, Jaguar and Alfa Romeo.
Anyone interested in attending to the show can get in between 10:00 and 20:00 local time every day, except on Thursdays when the facility stays open until 22:00.
Entrance costs EUR12 (GBP10), although students and young people can get concessionary prices.
