Personal Brand Strategist Marva Goldsmith Conducts Webinar to Provide New Methods for Job Search and Business Building to Baby Boomers in Career Transition
2011-03-01
GREENBELT, MD, March 01, 2011 (Press-News.org) "All of your ideas went a long way towards giving hope to the hopeless, and inspiration to those who have given up the fight. Based on your presentation, I am re-branding today," exclaims Keith Armstrong a participant in a recent Branding Yourself After Age 50 seminar that was presented at the Tacoma Job Club MeetUp.

Brand Strategist and Career Coach Marva Goldsmith will present a series of two webinars beginning March 15 for Baby Boomers in career transition. The webinar focuses on Personal branding - a strategic process for maximizing your personal assets, credentials and strengths; packaging yourself in a way that aligns image with vision; and determining the best market channels and tactics to reach your goals. According to Goldsmith, "You cannot conduct a job search, market your products and services or get noticed by using the same old methods while expecting a different result." Webinar participants will learn how to apply commercial brand strategies in order to better position themselves in the career and business marketplace.

Branding guru and famed management consultant Tom Peters introduced the topic of personal branding in a 1997 Fast Company article where he said, "Regardless of age, regardless of position, regardless of the business we happen to be in, all of us need to understand the importance of branding. We are CEOs of our own companies: ME Inc."

Marva started her career as an electrical engineer and worked 20 years in the utility industry. She uses her experience of personal reinvention and image and brand management expertise to help webinar participants understand how personal branding can escalate any job hunting or business building effort. In addition, she explains the value of social media and reveals other opportunities to market one's self as a personal brand. Participants will leave this webinar with a strategic plan for marketing themselves in today's competitive environment.

The webinar series will be held on March 15 and March 22 at 8 PM EST. Included in the fee is a copy of the ebook, Re-Branding Yourself After Age 50, a personal brand assessment and one half hour of coaching with Marva Goldsmith. Goldsmith was a conference speaker at the National AARP Conference in 2009 and 2010 on the topic. Don't miss this opportunity to learn how to re-brand yourself for a better future. 2011-03-01
Dear fellow Americans, It is time for all proud Americans to return to our values, to the foundation of our nation. We have had enough of politics and partisan privileges. The hard reality is that both major parties, that have controlled our country for so many presidencies, continuously fail to bring prosperity and undermine our most sacred rights, the freedom to live with dignity and peace in our hearts. It is time to do what it is best for our nation and its people and not what a handful of influential economic powers dictate for their sole benefit. It is ...

Unfortunately, inattentiveness can be a symptom of a vast array of conditions, but attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) has caught most of the blame. In truth, hyperactivity and a lack of focus or interest can derive from depression, anxiety, or a handful of other clinical conditions. A doctor that can differentiate the difference ...
