LateRooms.com - Trail of Dead Prepare to Hit Dusseldorf

Texas rockers Trail of Dead are heading to Zakk in Dusseldorf next month.

2011-03-02
DUSSELDORF, GERMANY, March 02, 2011 (Press-News.org) Dusseldorf's Zakk venue is awaiting the arrival of ...And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead next month.

The alternative rockers from Austin, Texas are back on the road following the recent release of their seventh studio album Tao of the Dead.

Usually known as Trail of Dead by their fans, the band will play live in the German city on Sunday March 27th as part of their European tour.

Led by songwriters Jason Reece and Conrad Keely, the group have a reputation for energetic and frequently chaotic live performances.

Trail of Dead shows have often ended with the band destroying their instruments on stage, while Reece and Keely frequently switch between playing guitars, drums and vocals during the show.

The concert will give people a chance to hear music from the latest LP, as well as tracks from older albums such as their self-titled debut and 2002's Source Tags and Codes.

According to the group, Tao of the Dead finds the band paying homage to the likes of Pink Floyd, Rush and Yes.

The record features production work from long-time collaborator Chris 'Frenchie' Smith, who was behind the mixing desk for their debut LP back in 1998.

It has been well received by music critics and reached the top 20 in the German albums chart.

Tickets to see Trail of Dead in Dusseldorf are priced at EUR18 (GBP15.30) plus booking fee.

The show is due to start at 20:00 local time and support will be provided by Swiss punk act Fugo.

Music fans considering a Dusseldorf hotel reservation for the concert can head to LateRooms.com for a choice of accommodation in the area, including the Relexa Hotel Ratingen City.

In a new FAQ, the writers at OnlineAutoInsurance.com outline another argument ...
